Description

A delicious bread pudding made with wild berries and drizzled with a sweet sauce.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups of cubed bread
  • 2 cups of wild berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup of butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cubed bread and wild berries.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and melted butter.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and berries, mixing gently to combine.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden and set.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving.
  8. Drizzle with your choice of sauce before serving.
