Description

Vegan Teriyaki Cauliflower Wings are a delicious plant-based appetizer that combines crispy cauliflower with a sweet and savory teriyaki sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup plant-based milk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip cauliflower florets into the flour mixture, then into the plant-based milk, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Place the coated cauliflower on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  6. In a saucepan, heat teriyaki sauce over medium heat.
  7. Once the cauliflower is done, toss it in the teriyaki sauce until evenly coated.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by adding sriracha to the teriyaki sauce.
  • Serve with sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish.
