Description
A sweet and crunchy treat made with Ube and Rice Krispies.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups Rice Krispies
- 1 cup Ube extract
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 bag (10 oz) marshmallows
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large pot over low heat.
- Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
- Mix in the Ube extract and salt until well combined.
- Remove from heat and add the Rice Krispies, stirring until evenly coated.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- For added flavor, consider sprinkling some coconut flakes on top before cooling.
- Ube extract can be adjusted based on desired flavor intensity.
