Teriyaki Salmon is a flavorful dish featuring salmon fillets marinated in a sweet and savory teriyaki sauce.
Ingredients

- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
- Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat.
- Remove salmon from marinade and reserve the marinade.
- Cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it flakes easily with a fork.
- In a small saucepan, combine reserved marinade, cornstarch, and water. Bring to a boil and stir until thickened.
- Serve salmon drizzled with thickened teriyaki sauce, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
- For best results, marinate the salmon for up to 2 hours.
- You can substitute honey for brown sugar if desired.
- Serve with steamed rice and vegetables for a complete meal.
