- 1 lb flank steak
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 package pretzel dough
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Coarse salt (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Cook the flank steak in a skillet until browned, then slice it thinly.
- Roll out the pretzel dough and cut it into rectangles.
- Place a slice of steak and some cheese on each rectangle.
- Wrap the dough around the filling and seal the edges.
- Place the pretzels on a baking sheet.
- Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with coarse salt.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Feel free to use a different type of cheese.
- Ensure the steak is cooked to your preference.
- Serve with mustard or your favorite dipping sauce.
