Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water or milk
  • 1 ripe pear, diced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring water or milk to a boil.
  2. Add oats, salt, diced pear, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in honey or maple syrup.
  5. Top with nuts if desired and serve warm.
