Ingredients

- 2 cups water or milk
- 1 ripe pear, diced

- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring water or milk to a boil.
- Add oats, salt, diced pear, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and stir in honey or maple syrup.
- Top with nuts if desired and serve warm.
