Ingredients

- 2 pounds of steak, cut into cubes
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup of cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of beef broth
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan and brown the steak cubes.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the slow cooker.
- Add the browned steak, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika on top of the potatoes.
- Layer the remaining potatoes over the steak mixture.
- Pour beef broth over the layers.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and cover until melted.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- You can add vegetables like carrots or peas for more nutrition.
- For a thicker consistency, mix cornstarch with water and add to the slow cooker during the last hour.
