- 1 box brownie mix (approximately 18 oz)
- 1 cup creamy or chunky peanut butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray or butter.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, eggs, water, sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
- Gently fold in the peanut butter until evenly distributed.
- Add the chocolate chips and mix until dispersed.
- Transfer the brownie batter into the prepared slow cooker, spreading it evenly.
- Cover and cook on low heat for 2 to 3 hours, until edges are set and center is slightly gooey.
- Check doneness with a toothpick; it should come out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let sit for 10 minutes before serving. Scoop into bowls and enjoy warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
- Reheat individual portions in the microwave for about 30 seconds.
- For freezing, scoop portions into freezer-safe containers and thaw in the refrigerator before reheating.
