Description

A festive jam made in a slow cooker, perfect for holiday gifts or enjoying at breakfast.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups of crushed strawberries
  • 2 cups of crushed raspberries
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of lemon juice
  • 1 package of pectin

Instructions

  1. Combine crushed strawberries and raspberries in the slow cooker.
  2. Add sugar, lemon juice, and pectin.
  3. Stir well to mix all ingredients.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, stirring occasionally.
  5. Check the consistency; if too runny, cook for another hour.
  6. Pour jam into sterilized jars and seal.
  7. Allow to cool before storing in the refrigerator.
