A comforting Slow Cooker Chicken Caesar Casserole that combines the classic flavors of Caesar salad with tender chicken and creamy goodness.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs or 680 g)
- 4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup Caesar dressing
- 2 cups croutons
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions
- Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker and season with garlic powder and black pepper.
- Pour the Caesar dressing over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are well coated.
- Add the chopped romaine lettuce on top of the chicken and dressing mixture.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the lettuce layer.
- Add the croutons on top of the cheese layer.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
- Once cooking is complete, drizzle the lemon juice over the casserole.
- Gently mix the casserole before serving and enjoy warm.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
- Reheat in the microwave or stovetop until heated through.
- For freezing, do so before adding lettuce and croutons.
