  • 4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Wash the peaches thoroughly, cut them in half, and remove the pits. Place the peach halves in the slow cooker, cut side up.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
  3. Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture evenly over the peaches.
  4. Dot the tops of the peaches with small pieces of butter and drizzle with vanilla extract.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat. Cook for 4 to 6 hours, or until the peaches are soft and caramelized.
