- 4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Wash the peaches thoroughly, cut them in half, and remove the pits. Place the peach halves in the slow cooker, cut side up.
- In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture evenly over the peaches.
- Dot the tops of the peaches with small pieces of butter and drizzle with vanilla extract.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat. Cook for 4 to 6 hours, or until the peaches are soft and caramelized.
