Description

A nutritious breakfast bowl featuring quinoa, sausage, and cheese for a hearty start to your day.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse quinoa under cold water.
  2. In a pot, combine quinoa and water. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes until water is absorbed.
  4. In a skillet, cook sausage until browned.
  5. Add bell peppers and onions to the skillet and sauté until soft.
  6. In a separate pan, scramble eggs.
  7. Combine quinoa, sausage mixture, and scrambled eggs in a bowl.
  8. Top with shredded cheese.
  9. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Feel free to add your favorite vegetables.
