Description
Salisbury Steak Meatballs served with Garlic Herb Mashed Potatoes.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form mixture into meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake meatballs for 25 minutes or until cooked through.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add flour to create a roux.
- Slowly whisk in beef broth until smooth and bring to a simmer.
- Add cooked meatballs to the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes.
- In a pot, boil potatoes until tender, then drain.
- Add garlic, milk, butter, and parsley to potatoes and mash until smooth.
- Serve meatballs over mashed potatoes with gravy.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
- Adjust seasonings to taste.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
