- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned, drained)

- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Using your hands, shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the formed meatballs on a plate or baking sheet.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the soy sauce and brown sugar until the sugar is dissolved. Add the pineapple chunks to the sauce and stir gently to combine.
- Arrange the meatballs in the bottom of the slow cooker. Pour the teriyaki sauce with pineapple over the meatballs, ensuring they are well coated.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the meatballs are cooked through and tender.
- Once cooked, carefully remove the meatballs from the slow cooker and place them on a serving platter. Drizzle some of the remaining sauce over the meatballs.
