Description

Oven fried feta rolls with chili honey are a delicious appetizer that combines crispy layers with creamy feta and a sweet, spicy drizzle.


Ingredients

  • 8 sheets of phyllo dough
  • 200g feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix feta cheese with chili flakes and black pepper.
  3. Lay one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface and brush with olive oil.
  4. Place another sheet on top and repeat the oil brushing.
  5. Cut the phyllo into strips.
  6. Spoon a portion of the feta mixture onto one end of each strip.
  7. Fold the sides over and roll up tightly.
  8. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Brush the tops with olive oil.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. While baking, heat honey in a small saucepan and stir in a pinch of chili flakes.
  12. Drizzle the chili honey over the baked rolls before serving.
