Description

A sweet and crunchy snack made with almonds and orange flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups raw almonds
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, orange zest, and salt. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
  3. Add almonds to the saucepan and stir to coat.
  4. Spread almonds on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
  • Adjust the amount of orange zest for more or less flavor.
