Description

Delicious maple-flavored donut bars with a sweet glaze.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk melted butter, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and maple syrup.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the bars cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
  8. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and maple syrup until smooth.
  9. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled bars.

Notes

  • Store bars in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • For a richer flavor, add more maple syrup to the glaze.
