Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 teaspoon cumin

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cornbread mix, egg, and milk.
  3. Stir in diced onions, bell peppers, and cumin.
  4. Spread half of the cornbread mixture in a greased baking dish.
  5. Pour the chili over the cornbread layer.
  6. Top with remaining cornbread mixture and sprinkle cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
