Deliciously fragrant tea cakes infused with lavender and Earl Grey tea.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons Earl Grey tea leaves
- 1 tablespoon dried lavender
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
- Stir in the Earl Grey tea leaves and lavender.
- Pour the batter into the prepared muffin tin.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Adjust the amount of lavender to taste.
- Can be served with a dusting of powdered sugar.
