Ingredients

  • 4 medium apples, cored and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine apple slices, cinnamon, honey or maple syrup, and lemon juice.
  3. Toss the mixture until apples are well coated.
  4. If using, melt the butter and drizzle it over the apples.
  5. Transfer the apple mixture to a baking dish.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until apples are tender.
  7. Serve warm as a dessert or side dish.
