Description

Guinness Gravy Meatballs are savory meatballs cooked in a rich Guinness beer gravy, perfect for a hearty meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup Guinness beer
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides.
  5. Remove meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add beef broth, Guinness, and Worcestershire sauce.
  7. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  8. Return meatballs to the skillet and cook for 15 minutes.
  9. Stir in cornstarch mixture to thicken gravy.
  10. Serve meatballs with gravy over mashed potatoes or rice.
