A rich and moist chocolate bundt cake infused with Guinness beer.
Ingredients

- 1 cup Guinness stout
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a bundt pan.
- In a saucepan, heat the Guinness and butter until melted.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar and cocoa powder.
- Add the melted Guinness mixture to the sugar mixture and stir well.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, sour cream, and vanilla.
- Combine the egg mixture with the chocolate batter and mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream or chocolate ganache.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature.
