Description
A delicious grilled cheese patty melt featuring a juicy beef patty, melted cheese, and grilled bread.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 slices of bread
- 1 beef patty (4 oz)
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Season the beef patty with salt and pepper and cook it in the skillet for about 4 minutes on each side.
- Place the cheese slices on top of the patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread butter-side down in the skillet.
- Add the cooked patty with melted cheese on top of the bread.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
- Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve.
Notes
- You can use different types of cheese if desired.
- Add sautéed onions or peppers for extra flavor.
- Serve with a side of pickles or chips.
