Description

A sweet and spicy snack made with pecans coated in a gingersnap mixture.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the egg white and water until frothy.
  3. Add the pecans and stir until well coated.
  4. In another bowl, mix sugar, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
  5. Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the pecans and stir to coat evenly.
  6. Spread the pecans in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool before serving.
