Description
Gingerbread pancakes topped with a warm spiced syrup.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk the milk, egg, molasses, and oil.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
- Serve warm with spiced syrup.

- Adjust spices to taste.
- Serve with whipped cream for extra flavor.
