Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: Wash and cut the broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic and set aside. If using frozen shrimp, ensure they are thawed and patted dry.
- Heat the Butter: In a large skillet or wok, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat until it foams slightly.
- Sauté the Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
- Cook the Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and curl up. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Stir-Fry the Broccoli: In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
- Combine Everything: Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet with the broccoli. Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, stirring well to coat all ingredients. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
