Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can French onion soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until onion is soft.
  4. In a large bowl, mix the beef mixture with rice, beef broth, and French onion soup.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is melted.
