A creamy and rich eggnog pudding topped with fluffy whipped cream.
Ingredients

- 2 cups eggnog
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine eggnog, sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
- Whisk over medium heat until the mixture thickens.
- In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks and gradually add a small amount of the hot eggnog mixture.
- Return the egg yolk mixture to the saucepan and cook for another minute.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and nutmeg.
- Pour into serving dishes and chill in the refrigerator for at least two hours.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Top the chilled pudding with whipped cream before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh eggnog for the best flavor.
- Adjust sugar based on your taste preference.
