- 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture.
- Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix.
- If using, sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream for added flavor.
- You can use pumpkin pie spice instead of cinnamon and nutmeg.
