Description

This Easy Pumpkin Dump Cake is a simple dessert that combines pumpkin puree, cake mix, and spices for a delicious treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. Pour the pumpkin mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture.
  5. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix.
  6. If using, sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with whipped cream for added flavor.
  • You can use pumpkin pie spice instead of cinnamon and nutmeg.
