These easy Halloween pancakes are a fun and festive breakfast option for the holiday.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Food coloring (orange and black)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Divide the batter into two bowls. Add orange food coloring to one bowl and black food coloring to the other.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  6. Pour batter into the skillet to form pancakes. Alternate colors for a fun design.
  7. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  8. Serve with syrup and enjoy your festive pancakes.
