Ingredients

  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 2 jars (24 ounces each) marinara sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Drain excess fat and add marinara sauce to the meat mixture.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. In the crockpot, layer half the ziti, half the meat sauce, and half the ricotta mixture.
  5. Add half the mozzarella and half the Parmesan cheese.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until pasta is tender.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy.
