Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain excess fat.
- Add onion, carrots, and garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened.
- Transfer the meat and vegetable mixture to the crockpot.
- Add peas, beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to the crockpot.
- Stir to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Spread mashed potatoes on top of the meat mixture before serving.
Notes
- Use leftover mashed potatoes for a quicker preparation.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like corn or green beans.
- Top with cheese for added flavor.
