Ingredients

- 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced (about 4–5 medium peaches)
- 4 cups ripe nectarines, sliced (about 4–5 medium nectarines)
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- A pinch of salt
- Optional: Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving
Instructions
- Prepare the fruit by washing and slicing the peaches and nectarines, then toss with 1/2 cup of brown sugar and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Mix the topping by combining rolled oats, flour, remaining brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt, then add melted butter and mix until crumbly.
- Assemble in the crockpot by greasing it, pouring in the fruit mixture, and topping with the oat mixture.
- Cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
- Reheat in the microwave or oven, or freeze for up to 3 months.
- For a vegan option, replace butter with coconut oil or vegan butter.
- For gluten-free, use gluten-free oats and flour.
