- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs or 680 g)
- 1/2 cup honey (120 ml)
- 1/2 cup peach preserves (120 g)
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (240 ml)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (5 g)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder (5 g)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (5 g)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Fresh peach slices and chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the bottom of your crockpot. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- In a medium bowl, combine honey, peach preserves, BBQ sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
- Pour the honey peach BBQ sauce mixture over the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken breasts and shred them into bite-sized pieces.
- Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot and stir it into the remaining sauce.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- To reheat, warm in the microwave or on the stovetop.
- For freezing, place in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months.
