Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup honey (100 g)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (60 ml)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil (15 ml)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Whisk until well combined and set aside.
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Place them in the crockpot, skin side down, ensuring they are arranged in a single layer for even cooking.
  3. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Cover the crockpot with the lid and cook on low for 2-3 hours or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. For a caramelized finish, switch the crockpot to high for the last 30 minutes of cooking.
