Crockpot Hamburger Potato Casserole

Description

A hearty and comforting casserole made with ground beef, potatoes, and cheese, cooked slowly in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain excess fat.
  2. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the crockpot.
  3. Add half of the ground beef and onion over the potatoes.
  4. Pour half of the cream of mushroom soup and half of the milk over the mixture.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, beef, onion, soup, and milk.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Top with shredded cheese.
  8. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until potatoes are tender.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can include garlic powder or your favorite herbs.
