Description
A hearty and comforting casserole made with ground beef, potatoes, and cheese, cooked slowly in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain excess fat.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the crockpot.
- Add half of the ground beef and onion over the potatoes.
- Pour half of the cream of mushroom soup and half of the milk over the mixture.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, beef, onion, soup, and milk.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until potatoes are tender.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can include garlic powder or your favorite herbs.
- This dish pairs well with a side salad.
