A hearty and comforting Crockpot Hamburger and Potato Casserole that combines ground beef, tender potatoes, and creamy cheese, perfect for family dinners and gatherings.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced thinly
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz each)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat with chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper for 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Prepare the crockpot by spraying it with non-stick cooking spray or greasing it with olive oil.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the crockpot, followed by half of the cooked beef mixture, one can of cream of mushroom soup, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Repeat the layers, finishing with the last cup of cheese on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the potatoes are tender and cheese is melted.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For freezing, portion out and freeze for up to 3 months.
- Reheat in the microwave or oven until heated through.
