A comforting and delicious Crockpot Chicken Parmesan Pasta recipe that combines tender chicken, savory tomato sauce, and gooey cheese, perfect for busy weeknights or family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 12 oz penne pasta (uncooked)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Pour half of the marinara sauce at the bottom of the crockpot, place the seasoned chicken on top, and cover with the remaining marinara sauce.
  3. Sprinkle minced garlic over the chicken and sauce, then add uncooked penne pasta, ensuring it is submerged in the sauce.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top, cover, and let it cook until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Gently stir to combine everything, garnish with fresh basil leaves, and serve hot.
