Description

A creamy and comforting Crockpot Chicken Alfredo Tortellini dish that combines tender chicken, cheese tortellini, and rich Alfredo sauce, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless chicken breasts
  • 12 oz cheese tortellini (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the boneless chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot and season with black pepper and Italian seasoning.
  2. Sprinkle the minced garlic evenly over the chicken.
  3. Add the chicken broth and heavy cream to the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
  5. Remove the chicken, shred it, and return it to the crockpot.
  6. Stir in the cheese tortellini and grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Cover and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop.
  • For freezing, do so before adding the tortellini.
