Description

A simple and delicious dessert made in a crockpot, featuring layers of caramel and apple cake.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Grease the crockpot with cooking spray.
  2. Spread the apple pie filling evenly in the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the apple filling.
  4. In a bowl, mix the cake mix and melted butter until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the apples and caramel.
  6. Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce on top.
  7. Sprinkle cinnamon and nuts if using.
  8. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours or until the cake is set.
