Instructions
- Prepare the crockpot by greasing it with cooking spray or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared crockpot, spreading it evenly.
- Cover and cook on low heat for 4 to 5 hours, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the banana bread cool for 10-15 minutes before removing it from the crockpot.
