- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk together the egg and milk.
- Dip each catfish fillet in the egg mixture, then coat with the cornmeal mixture.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Place the coated fillets in the basket in a single layer.
- Spray the tops of the fillets with cooking spray.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check for doneness; the fish should be flaky and golden brown.
Notes
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of fillets.
- Serve with tartar sauce or lemon wedges.
- For extra crunch, add panko breadcrumbs to the coating.
