A hearty and creamy turkey pumpkin chili that combines ground turkey with pumpkin puree and spices for a comforting meal.

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup corn (fresh or frozen)
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned.
- Add the onion and garlic, cooking until soft.
- Stir in the pumpkin puree, black beans, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, corn, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and stir in the sour cream before serving.
Notes
- Serve with crusty bread or over rice.
- Adjust spices to your taste.
