- 8 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup celery, diced

- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- In a large pot, place the whole chicken and cover with chicken broth.
- Add carrots, celery, and onion. Bring to a boil, then simmer until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove the chicken and let it cool. Shred the meat, discarding the skin and bones.
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix in melted butter and milk until a dough forms.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough into the simmering broth. Cook for about 15 minutes until dumplings are fluffy.
- Add shredded chicken back to the pot and stir gently to combine.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
