- 1 pound spaghetti
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 15 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
- Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet and mix well.
- Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and cover until cheese melts.
- Serve hot.

- This dish can be made ahead and reheated.
- Feel free to add bell peppers for extra flavor.
