Description

Coconut Lime Poached Salmon is a light and refreshing dish that combines the rich flavors of coconut milk and zesty lime.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (13.5 oz) coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon lime zest
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, combine coconut milk, lime juice, lime zest, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
  3. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  4. Place salmon in the skillet, skin side down, and cover.
  5. Poach the salmon for about 10-15 minutes, or until cooked through.
  6. Remove the salmon from the skillet and plate.
  7. Drizzle some of the poaching liquid over the salmon and garnish with cilantro.
