Description

A moist and flavorful banana bread topped with a cinnamon crumb topping.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (for crumb topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in melted butter into the mashed bananas.
  4. Add baking soda and salt, mix well.
  5. Stir in sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
  6. Add flour and mix until just combined.
  7. In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and flour for the crumb topping.
  8. Pour the banana batter into a greased loaf pan and sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the top.
  9. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let it cool before slicing and serving.
