Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 2 cups mixed dried fruit
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Fold in the mixed dried fruit and chopped nuts.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let the cookies cool on a wire rack.
