Description

A sweet and salty snack made with pretzels, buttery toffee, and chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups pretzels
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Spread pretzels in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until smooth.
  5. Pour the toffee mixture over the pretzels, spreading evenly.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  8. Let sit for a few minutes, then spread the melted chocolate evenly.
  9. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top if desired.
  10. Allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces.
